How does it work?

It all begins with an idea.

Stereo Mastering

With Analog Outboard and Digital Precise instruments.

From 40€

Stereo mastering is the standard form of mastering. The client provides a stereo, uncompressed audio file (WAV or AIFF format), commonly referred to as a "mixdown", in which all elements of the track are mixed together.

The mastering engineer then works on the stereo file with the goal of enhancing clarity, correcting any technical issues, and ensuring a cohesive, well-balanced sound. This process includes gluing all the sounds together, expanding the so-called “3D space,” achieving the right loudness to compete within a specific genre, and ensuring optimal translation across various listening systems.

The final master is designed to sound consistent and professional, whether played on an iPad, phone, hi-fi system, or in a club.

Stem Mastering

With Analog Outboard and Digital Precise instruments.

From 99€

Stem mastering is a more modern approach to mastering. Instead of providing a single stereo file, the client exports groups of instruments that have already been mixed. This gives the mastering engineer more control over the final sound, allowing them to make additional decisions such as compression, equalization, and fine-tuning of individual stems. The goal is to achieve the best balance of volume, spatial perception, and overall cohesion.

The most common formats are 8-stem mastering and 16-stem mastering, which give the engineer the flexibility to refine the mix in a properly acoustically treated room. This process typically results in higher-quality sound compared to traditional stereo mastering.

Mixing

With Analog Outboard and Digital Precise instruments.

From 150€

Mixing is the art of blending raw instrument recordings and sound files to create a polished final product, commonly referred to as a "song" or "track."

The mixing engineer takes your pre-arranged recordings—sequenced drums, guitars, synthesizers, acid basslines, hard kicks, and more—and processes them through high-end analog gear to achieve optimal clarity for each instrument. The goal is to ensure that every element "sits tight and loud" in the mix, creating what we call "instrument separation"—where all sounds are distinct yet cohesive, without clashing or interfering with one another.

Finally, the track is summed in analog and mastered to perfection for the best possible sound quality.
